 Not quite what's picturedSep 30, 2009

We ordered a full size headboard (the photo shows a twin size), and it was way too short. As in, not tall enough. The *entire* headboard was hidden by mattresses, and the mattresses my daughter has are not deep-pocket in the least. My husband had to make the headboard legs a lot taller at the bottom, so that worked out--but he's a handy guy and not everybody has one of those.
Another thing, the shape is a bit different. There is not the gentle curve on the top as the photo shows. It's shaped more like the silhouette of a sombrero; flatish on the sides and one small hump in the middle. The slats are way farther apart, as well. We chose a slatted headboard so that my daughter could reach the electric outlets more easily (rather than crawling under the bed). I didn't want them quite THAT far apart.
All in all, it doesn't look bad and it's a lot better than what we had. With the pillows propped up against it, it looks fine. It was very inexpensive and at least worth what I paid. Would I do it again? Well, it was easy to put together (except for the "rigging" part), but I think I would go for something more solid next time. Something like this is just too hard to send back if you don't like it.

I received the headboard in great shape no damage and it shipped
rather fast. The price is great but the shipping is expensive and
places like Walmart was having a special where it shipped for just
.97 and the only other thing is the headboard could have been a
little taller all in all not a bad buy.
