I first saw this product on another major retailer's website for $199 so I was excited to see it here cheaper. I did read the reviews on the competitor's website and they were mostly negative so I was prepared that this product may less-than-perfect.
Yes, it is a tad bit flimsy. As you progress putting it together it does seem to come together but it still wobbles when you finally stand it up like Grandma Franny after a few-too-many mimosas. I've read other reviewers say they had better success buying some brackets to reinforce the entire unit. That's our plan for tomorrow. We've already hit the home improvement store once today to buy new cam connectors. Do yourself a favor, count the cams and then go to Lowe's or Home Depot and buy House-Mates 15mm x14mm Cam Connectors to replace the ones that come with the unit. The ones that come with the unit cheap and they break when you're trying to screw the cam screw into them. We should have just replaced all of them and saved ourselves some trouble.
While I'm talking like I put it together myself, I was just the cheerleader and the "hold-it" girl. My husband is the put-it-together-er. Yes folks, there was a lot of swearing involved so if you're anything like my husband, have the children head over to a friend's house to play while you're putting it together so they don't learn some new "colorful" language. There was a minimal amount of tool-chucking, though, so it wasn't as bad as some projects my husband has had to undertake.
Overall, I like the look of the unit, it's tall and comes with plenty of storage room. I like the glass doors that cover the top shelf of the cabinet. I didn't have a problem with any damaged pieces until we attempted to put the back on the unit; one nail managed to splice the facing board on the microwave shelf and split the particle board where it meets the cam connector. Hello Super Glue and since the microwave will cover that area, it should be fine. Just use some caution when you're nailing the back cardboard (pretty thin) onto the back of the unit.
By the way, the box this comes in is really heavy. Luckily my husband was home when UPS delivered it or it would have sat outside on my porch until he could come home and move it. I would have never gotten it into the house on my own.

I put this together by myself at 7 months of pregnancy. Its very simple to put together. Looks great in my kitchen. Just be careful with the drawer, it does not hold a lot of weight in it. Otherwise its a great buy!

I have had this product for over a year now and thought I should review it now since It held up as I had hoped. The cabinet was exactly what I had wanted and looked even nicer in peron. I actaully made a bar out of this microwave cart. Everyone who sees it cant belive how nice it looks and it has held up to a lot of use and heavy bottles.
Also the company I bought it from was great. I received the product quicker than I anticipated the directions to put it together were just OK but I managed though you do need two people to put it together. Well worth the money!

Finished product looks exactly as pictured. Very sturdy. Assembly instructions not very good, but you can figure it out if you just reason through the steps. My only complaint is that the cabinet doors on the bottom don't close quite the way they should, no matter what you do with the hinges. It still looks ok and is servicable. All in all, I am quite happy with the cabinet and have received many compliments on it.
