Not a "one size fits all" chairSep 22, 2009

Bought this because it was cheap - okay, the purple color intrigued me also.
You wouldn't expect expert craftsmanship for this price, and you indeed don't get it - visible seams, cheap plastic, etc.
Assembly is about average on the frustration scale. Once you realize that the only way the screws (which are already screwed into the cushions for storage - don't look for them in a bag) will ever go in properly is to throw away every flat washer they tell you to use, it's fairly simple to put together.
It's not a horrible chair. If you are less than 5'4" and not over 100 pounds, this may be fairly comfy. If you weigh any more than that, as soon as you sit on it - pffffffttt - you're on the ground. It's made for older children / smaller adults, and it's cheap. If you're buying a chair for someone who doesn't have back problems and you dont want to spend any more money than you have to, this will do. But don't buy one for yourself. I'm considering bringing my dining room chair back into the computer room as I type this.
