Far from being comfortableMay 15, 2009

This review may be a little biased as every person has different physical features. However there are certain things about this product that should have been done better.
I wanted a mesh chair because New York city tends to get very humid in the summer and this seemed to be most hygienic choice. If you have the same problem just stop and think about the winter. You will have to put something underneath or freeze off your bottom. But I cannot hold this against the product itself. Maybe you live in Florida and it's not an issue for you.
So what really bothers me? Chair by default (lowest setting) is very highif your desk is a little lower forget about buying this one. The hydraulic column is just way to long for this type of chair. On top of this arm rest has no height regulation and they are quite high. I had to remove them - they were getting into my way while I was typing.
In the very upright position your body is slightly leaning forward at the same time bottom part of the chair is slightly angled downward. Result - you keep slipping down. Repositioning chair backward does not help either - your lower back gets no support. And those are all adjustments you can made by the way.
Conclusion - spent more money and get the real deal. Make sure your chair has as many adjustments as possible - this will spare you back problems.
