Just what I was looking forNov 06, 2010

This is a nice addition to our kitchen. I have looked at bakers racks for many months, always going back to this one because it was the right size, looked to be sturdy with enough storage space and I really liked the idea of having some extra drawers. What kept me from ordering it was the lack of product reviews and the lower price compared to other bakers racks made me wonder if I would get a flimsy piece of metal with particle board drawers. I finally purchased this bakers rack (though from another site and a different seller only because it was a better deal at the time). I'm happy I did as it is just what I was looking for. It looks just like the picture, including the wood color. The drawers are a bit shallow, but sturdy (although the inside bottoms of the drawers are wood composite). As for putting the rack together, it wasn't too difficult, once we found the screws stored behind the pullout drawers and we were able to figure out where to put the screws even though the instructions were not clear. Again, I did not purchase the item from this seller, so I can't vouch for them, but they likely order the product from the same manufacturer as the picture and description of the item are identical to the one I purchased. I am very happy with my purchase of this product and wanted to leave a review for others considering this item.

I am VERY pleased with this purchase! Not only was it affordable, but it was a breeze to put together and looks wonderful in my kitchen! It also happens to match my kitchen table EXACTLY (wasn't even trying for that).
Essentially, I have a lot of pretty enameled cast iron pieces that I wanted to display, but had nowhere to put them - this rack occupies a very boring wall in my kitchen, hides an air intake register (but still leaves it open) and shows off my pretty things brilliantly. My only criticism would be that the screw holes in the drawer handles were too small and I had to make them larger. That and the screws went in from the front - would be even nicer if the handles screwed in from the inside of the drawer, but perhaps I'll replace those someday. For now, very pleased.
Shipping was crazy fast - it was here in under a week. I think I ordered on a Thursday night and it was here the following Wednesday. Great seller!
