Good solid bed need elbow grease to assembleFeb 22, 2010

I just got this bed this weekend. Overall, I think it is well designed and engineered. There don't see to be enough room between the lower berth and upper berth. My head will hit the upper berth when I sit on the lower berth. (I am 5'9")
The assembly is another story. There were few holes that were not straight. And the some of the wood bolts are very hard to screw in with the tiny Allen wrench provided. I am lucky I have some power tools to modify the holes and to tighten the bolts. You will need at least 2 people to assemble the bed.
Overall, I think this is good buy for the money.

I have two twin boys and just relocated to a smaller house after a messy divorce. They now have to share a room so I thought I'd get them a nice big bunk bed so they can have more room for activities. They absolutely love it. It took some hassle to set up, but after a few days, it looks great! They bounce around on it all the time and generally wreck havoc in their room. This bunk bed sure can take a beating. It's perfect for all sorts of bunk bed games. They swing on the ladder, bounce up and down, play general boy games. Recommended for anyone with kids 6-10 years old.

These beds are great! My daughter that is 7 months pregnant and I put these together in just a couple of hours (we did have help stacking them!) with out any problems...went together very easily! The look great in the grand kids bedroom and I was amazed how sturdy they are.. I highly recommend them!

When I bought this product I didn't think it would come in so many pieces. Fortunately it wasn't hard to assemble. However, I find a few things I didn't like about it, a few manufactured defect on the woods, other than that great bunk beds. I especially like how I can separate the two beds and make into two individual ones. I would grade this product with a B+.

These are Great!! My two girls love them. Easy to put together, instruction were clear, although they need to modify the count of screws and such. Staeed that there was more than there was but, there was enough to follow the directions!
